Kaniva drops video for his moving track 'Last Night Being Homeless'

UD Music is proud to present London rapper Kaniva's new video for 'Last Night Being Homeless'. The empowering song is based on his own experiences, where Kaniva saw himself sleeping on the streets, 12 months ago. Clash Magazine premiered the video and wrote "A talented MC, the experience has helped forge a fresh direction, one that speaks starkly and honestly about important issues... Malunga drops new visuals for her Whispers In The Dark single

Our very own Malunga, an Urban Artist School alumni, is a vibrant soul-pop artist from East London. Over the last year, she has worked solidly, and independently, creating a body of work that reveals her playful personality. Malunga's captivating voice has allowed her to embed her unique stories within her new music -experimenting with the idea of life's ups and downs. While she's not singing as The Roundhouse's Resident Artist, the young singer is pushing her down further. 'Whispers in the dark' was recently track listed on Toddla T's playlist for BBC Radio 1. She continues to evolve in her work, drawing attention to reality whilst escaping through a dreamland. Malunga is definitely one to watch. Full story

Here’s what happened at our ‘Making & Monetising Video Content’ seminar

Once again, we headed to London’s Red Bull Studios for the latest installment of Industry Takeover. This month’s seminar ‘Making & Monetising Video Content’ was dedicated to educating artists about how to make their video content work and generate revenue. Host Chris Cooke, Co-Founder and Editor at CMU was joined by experts from organisations that have mastered the art of the visual, and they shared their top tips on how artists can make their videos work for them.
