Last Friday evening saw our 13 to 17-year-old vocal collective showcase their talents to an audience of family and friends for the first time. Urban Flames began their weekly rehearsals this September and the group has since grown from 5 to 18 members. The current team is an eclectic mix of energetic talent and were chosen from our Schools Industry Takeover, Summer Academy and our Record Label Project - which is running throughout this academic year.
There were some outstanding performances, including covers and originals, by group members. The show featured group performances of tracks such as Kwabs' Perfect Ruin and a collective performance of The Art Of Not Letting Go - written by group member Jack. Ayesha's Keep Your Love, which has had 13.4k views on our Urban Artist School Soundcloud, ended the evening with an overwhelming excitement to see what more beautiful music will be created by this passionate collective.
