Are you a budding journalist keen to hone your writing skills? Maybe you’re running a blog already or keen to build a portfolio of published work. If so this could be the role for you. We are looking for talented wordsmiths with a keen eye for grammar to provide regular articles for the all new Urban Development website. You’ll need to be versatile – from reviewing the latest new music, to interviewing industry insiders or writing a comment piece, no two assignments will be the same. You’ll be part of a team that decides on what content to include and have the full support of an editor as well as professional journalist mentors, so this could be the perfect next step for all you budding journalists out there.
Based in Stratford, applicants must be able to commit to at least one monthly on site editorial meeting, but most work will be able to be completed remotely.To apply for the role please send us short (500 words max) article you think would work on the UD website
Wordpress or tumblr? If the answer is both, everyday, then we need you to help us keep the Urban Development blog fresh, topical and the go to destination for musically minded young people. We’re building a complete editorial team, so as well as feeding off content from the website, we’ll be looking for individuals who have a bank of interesting and engaging ideas for posts. Written, filmed, recorded… we’re looking for content of all types so if you think you could be part of the team get in touch.

Social Media Team
Are you an Instagram influencer in the making? Do you dream in 140 characters? Does the thought of life without a smart phone break you out in a cold sweat? Yes? Then we want you. We’ve got the followers and we need a fresh team of individuals to keep them updated and informed. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube are our main focus currently, but we need a team of people on the ground to update daily from across London and beyond.

If you’re a budding photographer with your own camera and the ability to travel in and around London then get in touch. Experience is not essential, but enthusiasm and a good eye are.

We’re looking for people who know their way around a camera and are able to shoot and edit content for us on a monthly basis. The main focus for this work will most likely be based around a series of regular monthly sessions that we are keen to develop a distinct identity for, so this could be the perfect chance to hone your skills whilst developing your creative identity.
