Our regular series of Industry Takeover seminars, hosted at Red Bull Studios, includes guest speakers from Google, Universal, CODA, Outlook Festival, Vice, Complex and more.
Our forward-thinking content delves into topics from social media to songwriting, and sync to branding. Sessions include a panel discussion, Q&A and dedicated networking opportunities to swap cards with industry movers, spark new contacts with peers and start a revolution. Our host Chris Cooke is MD of CMU, whose daily bulletin is industry gold-dust. 

Industry Takeover 2017
This year's first round of seminars ran from January-June series and included inspiring speakers from major record labels, emerging independent companies, and frontline tastemakers. 
Making Money from Music - Speakers included Alec Boateng (A&R Director, Atlantic Records), Anna-Sophie Mertens (Promoter, Live Nation) and Siavash Khatiri (Founder, Play Hard Management / Label).
Getting Started and Building a Team - The panel featured Jamila Scott (A&R Manager, Method Records), Shaurav D'Silva (MD, 2-Tone Entertainment 2TE) and Will Spencer (Account Manager, Music Glue).
Building A Fanbase: Social & Music Media - On the panel were Afryea Henry-Fontaine (Marketing Manager, Virgin EMI), Saquib B (Video A&R, GRM Daily) and Jennifer Quigley-Jones (Partner Manager, Youtube).
Making & Monetising Video Content - We welcomed Morgan Keyz (Video Director & Artist Manager), Safiya Lambie-Knight (Senior Manager of Music & Talent, VEVO) and Larry Gale (Head of Broadcast Production, Boiler Room).
