SUPPORT: Ellie needs your band’s aid for Haiti

Concerned about the disaster in Haiti but unsure how to help? If you are a musician or small music organisation, Ellie Grimwood may have found the answer. Fusing together her passion for positive change and a desire to progress in the music business, the tenacious young lady has launched an initiative called Active Member of the Band. This philanthropic enterprise revolves around Ellie getting in touch with as many bands/singers as possible, with a view to offering her music industry services in return for their support. It doesn’t matter if you’re in a famous band, unknown, signed or unsigned, you can still take Ellie up on at least one of the following offers:
1) Ask her to do some sort of task
Need a helping hand with a project? Ellie is down to offer her street team services, help in the studio, reviews of CDs, music events… no task is too small.
2) Add your name to the campaign
If there's genuinely nothing that needs doing or you’re too busy, why not give her permission to include your name or logo on her page to show your support.
All funds will go to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC), a charity associated with disaster related events, and one that is focusing heavily on the Haiti earthquake victims right now. So help Ellie help Haiti and she just might be able to give your band a nudge in the right direction. Donations are always welcome so give whatever you can. Get involved now.
